Has anyone heard how Montessori's work for ADHD/PD-NOS children?

First off, a montessori school is not specialized to learning disabilities. Secondly, if anyone had diagnosed a kid that young with ADHD or PD-NOS they are on drugs themselves. The DSM-IV actually states that these problems cannot be diagnosed in anyone under 8 years of age.

Next, the best you can do for those types of problems is counseling. Stay away from the meds. Those meds are the equivalent of street speed.

The nice thing about a montessori is they have small classes designed for attention to the kids. That is nice.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
