I'll be honest, yes when I was in high school I had a very bad depression problem that lead into suicidal thoughts and tendencies. These thoughts would get bad, I almost succeeded one night after I drank to much and decided to call my abusive ex, which just put me into the worst possible state of mind, luckily someone came home early because I can't believe I even went that far, looking back on it now I feel like an IDIOT for even trying and now I have to live with slightly visible scars everyday. Anyways...I used to be on all sorts of medications but I didn't want the meds to work and they didn't.
I finally started going to counseling and that didn't help either. I had finally met a couple new friends, that I had a blast with, they were always around, always had something fun going on and I just grew out of that suicidal phase and I may get depressed now and again but it never comes down to wanting to kill myself. Hope this answers your question!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
