I'd go with the L755-S5349. Toshiba are a good make. I've got a P205 and M115, both several years old now and still performing well.
You seem to have drawn some very weird answers today and I'm sure you know that under $500 isn't going to get you the best laptop in the world but those Toshiba's should last a while.
Neither is worth that money. Invest on a quality laptop that will last you at least 3-5 years instead of a cheap laptop will be already too dated for the ever-growing media-data-graphics these days. I suggest a laptop with a faster processor and more storage.
Anything under $700 is not worth buying IMO. I'm all up to saving a buck, but when it comes to computers, that is a poor choice. On your budget, I suggest an HP Pavillion dv6z Quad, retails for $599 on their website, more on other websites.
Good luck.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
