Herman Cain's donations are up, Joe Walsh gets a "pro-family" award. Do conservatives reward the talk, ignore the walk?

Fine with me. The more money they waste on campaigns that fail, the less money they'll have for the general election. At least, about Herman Cain.

The flaming hypocrisy of the Family Research Council can't lower my opinion of them any further, but they seem intent on trying.

Today's conservative are yesterday's madmen. I think it's an insult to real conservatives to continue to lump the categories together.

You're right, and for that I apologize. I should have said "teabillies. " _Goldie_ 1 day ago .

I've know so many intelligent, common sense people in my life who identified themselves as conservative that it seems so insulting to even think of them in the same way as today's ultra right wing neo-fascist zealous people who are hell bent on claiming they are libertarians yet work ceaselessly to control every aspect of our personal lives and independent choices. These are some type of Zealots that came out from under the rocks during the Reagan era after the right wing of the Republican party identified them as malleable and useful for use by manipulative corporations and billionaires who saw the benefit of investing tons of money and raising a army of madmen (who were always brewing and stewing under the surface in the form of John Birchers, white supremacist groups etc, who have no concept and give no thought to the ultimate damage they are doing. Right makes might.

And, as proven by history, this type madness is contagious and is often studied by sociologists and psychologists and historians after the damage reaches such an extreme level that major action is required if still possible. This is the Handmaid's Tale.

I think it this group should form a new party called the Conservative Christian Right and be more honest about where it stands. Jpg.

Conservatives have undergone a rather disturbing transformation. What was once Dr. Jekyll is now Mr. Hyde, and it seems he has taken over the body. The new Republicans are even a shock to their own original principles.

Followers of the new hybrid are only too eager to comply with Mr. Hyde's rancid take on reality, the abhorring way he treats others, and his irrational antics. This leads me to believe its not just the Conservative politicians effected by this macabre morphing, but perhaps a genetic mutation experienced by ALL conservatives who find Mr. Hyde appealing. Using rationality to seek comprehension of the situation is futile.

They're still in denial. Once one of those three women speak up and tell her story, the jig is up. Cain will go the way of Anthony Weiner.(This is the name of a Brooklyn congressman that lost his job because of posting questionable pictures of himself on the internet. No profanity here.

You owe me an apology, Elf. ) .

Yes, the truth will out. In a way, it's a shame. He deserved to fail on his abysmal lack of knowledge, not his tendency to exploit women and abuse power - IF that proves to be the case.

For his wife's sake, I hope it's not as bad as he's made it look. _Goldie_ 23 hours ago .

And crime (Solyndra was only the tip of that iceberg and there are other icebergs out there for ships to hit) that the Democrats seem unwilling to call their own people on. I'd be really happy if both sides were willing to police their own. They're not, to their shame.

I still like Ron Paul because getting rid of that white elephant called the Department of Education will cover a lot of sins.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
