The error is in the log: gems. Rb:779:in `report_activate_error': Could not find RubyGem oauth (>= 0.3.5) You're probably using rails 2.3, and need to add oauth to your . Gems file.
I am using twitter gem that includes oauth gem. – vic Apr 5 at 18:53 Any idea how can I clear the logs? – vic Apr 5 at 18:55 1 I would explicitly add it to your .
Gems file. That is the problem. – Jesse Wolgamott Apr 5 at 19:35 added!
But nothing! – vic Apr 5 at 19:53 just to make sure, you added, you committed, and you pushed to heroku? – Jesse Wolgamott Apr 5 at 20:12.
I have rails gem (2.3.5) – vic Apr 5 at 18:54 comment out rails version in environment. Rb – Kyle Macey Apr 5 at 20:03 how can I clear the logs? – vic Apr 5 at 20:31 echo "" > logs/development.
Rb or production. Rb – Kyle Macey Apr 5 at 20:40.
The problem solved! Because Rails 2.3.5 and older are incompatible with Rack 1.1.0 my application failed to start. The twitter gem dependencies conflicted with rack so I specified the --ignore-dependencies flag on .
Gems to ignore Rack and added the other dependencies to . Gems manual. They are: oauth --version 0.3.
5 mash --version 0.0.3 --ignore-dependencies hoe --version 1.5.1 httparty --version 0.4.3 EVERYTHING WORKS FINE! Thanks!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
