He's Christian I'm Agnostic, feeling guilty for it?

I'm an Agnostic and I went to church today. I had my brunch in my garden with my Persian cats around me, our dog, the squirrels coming in for their daily peanuts and the Blue Jays were everywhere, along with the sound of dove's coo-ing in the background. One of the things I love about living in south Florida is the birds are always chirping, morning and afternoon.

We had fresh fruit and listened to the water fall beside the table we dined at. That is my idea of church, and I couldn't have felt any closer to the Universe today than I did. So what do I have to feel guilty about?

That I didn't have to set on a hard surface inside a stuffy place among a lot of strangers and sing hymns. Worship is a sacred thing. I have no reason to feel guilty.

Heh, no. I'm very glad to be rid of the gossip, ignorance, and judgment I've found in nearly every church I've attended. Makes my life less stressful.

I don't mind participating in legitimate church-run charities though, and will willingly do so if I have the money and/or time to spare.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
