Hmmmmm. Internet addiction might be a disease? I don't think it's a legitimate addiction. Technology today connects the world?

I think this can be a legitimate addiction. Online video games are already considered addicting. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_game_addiction I am on the internet around 16 hours a day, and often neglect my wife, health, and work responsibilities.

One day on Mahalo, I spent from 7AM to 5AM a day on the service for several days, which is when I was in the Top Three of the week. This is irrational behavior to me and is more addictive than other "addicting" scenarios or substances I've encountered in the past.

I think that in the future, this will be recognized as a legitimate addition. The reason that I believe this is the unusual behavior I witnessed in some people while I was repairing computers. I went to places of businesses and to people's homes.

Some times when I was working in a home, I observed a person who's obsession with the internet was disturbing. I know of one woman who completely spaced out on her kids, but luckily they were all over sixteen so it was not so bad for them. I thought then and I think now that she had a problem.

Her buddy list was full of people. As I watched, many of them went silent on her as soon as she tried to contact them. She could barely bring herself to stop so that I could work on her computer.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
