I am hoping this will be OK because the cysts are in the gravel, and the tomites don't live for more than a few days at 78 degrees. Should I raise the uninhabited 55 gallon to 86 degrees?

Mostly I want to know how and if I can rid my small system of Ich without killing the fish, and if I have possibly infected the new system. I really don't want to start over after taking this hobby up again after 20 years! Sarah W.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
