House passes budget and once again Reid is going to kill it in the senate causing a government shut down...?

Left and left media will blame Republicans Obama will blame Bush America will side with shutting government down because a vast majority of Americans understand that America is broke. Its not 1995. Looking into the rear view mirror while plowing into the future will not help democrats this time.

America is way less tolerant and far more concerned than they were in 1995.

The budget passed by Congress is a charade. Not just this one, but every one, every year. What actually matters are the tax and appropriations bills they must pass to make the hypothetical budget, or any other budget, a reality instead of a forecast.

It has been many years since the budget passed by Congress has had any real connection to actual income and outgo. The budget deficit is irrelevant. The current account deficit (income minus outgo) is what actually counts.

Revenue depends on the tax bill and the health of the economy, so only appropriations can be controlled. Usually they are not. We shall see if it is different this time.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
