The key is serving size. If you’re like most of my patients, you think one serving of avocado is the entire avocado, but in reality, it’s one-fifth of the fruit; and one serving of guacamole is two tablespoons. The best part is, when you eat them, you’re not eating other unhealthier fats, like butter or trans fats.
