How can I force gcc to link a static library?

The explanation of the -u flag from GCC means the following.

The explanation of the -u flag from GCC means the following: If you have a symbol aka variable or function that is defined in your source tell GCC to pretend that it is undefined so it takes the definition of such variable or function from the library you are linking. So if your B. C has nothing that may be defined in libA.

A the -u flag won't help you since the symbol_A is not needed by B. C and by the same token B. O, so will be simply ignored.

Thanks! Sorry I cannot vote yet. – user1134355 Jan 6 at 14:51.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
