How can I make long-distance caregiving for Alzheimer's work?

Many caregivers are not located right at the site of where the patient is. A local geriatric care manager can be employed to coordinate doctor visits, education-taking, daycare or respite care, or eventual admission to a care facility. Just as the patient cannot report accurately on their memory problems or problems in living, neither will you be able to assess the problems long distance.

Your local Alzheimer’s Association chapter or Area Agency on Aging may be able to put you in touch with a geriatric care manager. An initial personal visit to where the patient lives is also recommended, with return visits as often as is feasible.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
