First of all, I think that what you want to do is cool, and maybe the coolest part is that you are totally in control of what you write. Think about what kind of language he would like to hear from you, rather than what YOU might llike to hear from him. Instead of praising whatever gods there be that a love so deep has finally overwhelmed your very soul, write about "how much it means to me to know you care" "The special kind of caring that you know I share" Don't use a lot of flowery or "romance novel" language, use more guy talk.
Guys talk about loyalty and sticking together, and "I've got your back" . Girls talk about the undying eternal flames of love that burn within" If you feel you just HAVE to put in a few girly lines (and nobody would blame you), offset it with some humor. Humor is a wonderful way to avoid a possibly awkward or embarrassing moment.
"I cherish all your tender words of love, Like, "wait a few secs dear, it's almost half-time. And though I joke and poke some fun at times, it's really true, your presence helps to ease my mind. " Read it aloud to see how it sounds, and if you have a friend who knows him, read it aloud to them.
You may decide to read it aloud to him, that can be effective. Finally, read it to him when you are alone, and not in front of others. I think you will pull it off just fine!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
