How can you get the Header & Footer to only appear on the first page of a Microsoft Word document?

As you have already put the header/footer in, open header and footer again by just double clicking on it, no need to go View, Header & Footer, cut what you have put there already so it disappears. Now click on the Page Set up icon that appears on the header and footer toolbar, place a tick in the box against the different first page box then copy back into the first header or footer what you cut and it will show on first page only, not the others. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
