How do I cope with the controlling mother in law from hell?

Cut her out of your life. That's what I had to do, although even when you do cut her out she'll still try to get to you but you just have to laugh it off, it's all in your mindset - she can only get to you if you let her. Good luck, you'll bloody need it if she's anything like my mother in law.

EG. I call my mother in law Millicent Bystander (as in innocent bystander) because she's as sly as a fox but yet will not admit to anything. Now every time she rings my house for 'her son' the name 'Millicent ' comes up on caller ID and I have a little chuckle to myself.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
