How do I increase the tip amount for a question already submitted via Mahalo.com?

There is a *add a tip* feature button available to you as the asker for 60 minutes. You will find it in the blue window of the question. ** see the screengrab below to see the exact placing of the add a tip button and the time limit counter After the 60 minute edit window you as the questions asker can't add to or increase the tip.

However the tip can be increased by other users by the team tipping feature. Users can check interesting if they like and add additional funds to the tip. Many questions have gone from default tip to much higher because of this.

I believe the main reason why the questions asker cannot add to the tip after the 60 minute edit window is after 60 minutes you might have received several answers at the value level of the original tip (original tip 1.00 = 1.00 answers) if you were to for example go over the top of theses 1.00 answers and increase the tip to 5.00 you would get several answers at the 5.00 value (5.00 tip = much better and well researched answers). This would all but rule out the original responses at the 1.00 level from getting the best answer and receiving the tip as the 5.00 answers would for the most part be better answers. Many users here say the amount of the tip does not reflect in their answer but more often than not the responses you would receive for 5.00 would far out weigh the 1.00 answers.

I believe the time limit on tip editing and question editing is in fairness to the original answers that reflect the original tip and the original question.

I don't think so, you would have to edit it. However you could just tip whoever you thought deserved best answer the extra personally, and add that you intended to do so in a comment. I'm betting someone with more Mahalo experience may be able to chime in here, but if not hope this helped was just a thought.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
