How do I Jersey tease my hair?

If you watch Jersey Shore" or "Jerseylicious on TV, you will notice it seems like the Jersey gals love big hair! Big hair and teasing is becoming back in style because of all the Jersey publicity! Well, let's be honest, what girl does not want thicker, fuller, bigger hair?

The Jersey tease is easy to create. Traci on Jerseylicious explained how to get big hair on one episode. She explained how you would start with dry hair, then grab a small section of hair at the top of the head.

Hairspray with great holding spray and then grab a teasing comb. You comb the hair from the middle to the root in a downward motion. Note, you do this while holding the hair straight up in the air.

Lay the hair down and comb through gently to smooth. So, basically teasing is just combing the hair, near the roots in the opposite direction you normally would. To create the "Jersey tease" or big hair, be sure to spray before and after for excellent hold!
