If you have passed your mucus plug and had your "bloody show," and you start feeling pains in your uterus/stomach/pelvic area, you could be having contractions. Start timing them from start to start, and if they are getting closer together, you are likely to be having real contractions.
And trust me - you will know when it is really labor! I asked the same thing and kept wondering and then it really happened. If you can talk or walk normally without trouble - then it is most likely not early labor.
There is also an app and a website that helps you count your contractions. Most hospitals will tell you a 5-1-1 or 3-1-1 deal. Contractions 5 minutes a part, lasting for 1 minute for 1 hour and really close - 3 minutes apart, lasting for a minute and for 1 hour - you are in labor!
But it also really depends on how far along you are. But yes, better safe than sorry - so you should call your doc.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
