How do I order a transcript of the trial courts proceedings on the judgment, order or decision that I am appealing?

In some cases, there is no transcript made of the trial courts consideration of the judgment, order or decision because the trial court prepared a written memorandum/decision, order or judgment. However, in many cases, the trial courts proceedings are transcribed or recorded and if this occurs, you must order a copy of the transcript.
