How do I restore factory preprogrammed frequencies into a Undiden Bearcat BC246T handheld scanner?

I just purchased a refurbished Bearcat BC246T handheld radio scanner. Unless I am mistaken, it appears that all the preprogrammed frequencies are erased. I need to restore these frequencies.

Can anyone help me? My other alternative is to send it back to Uniden and they will charge $85 which is almost what I paid for the unit. Asked by PMStern 27 months ago Similar questions: restore factory preprogrammed frequencies Undiden Bearcat BC246T handheld scanner Consumer Electronics.

3 My scanner has room for 40 different frequencies. I just punch in the frequency then hit enter. I can erase them and enter new ones.

I have 5 pages of frequencies here I play around with. Local police, Sherrif Dept. Fire dept.

, airports, highway dept. Etc.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
