Yup, IOU-0 said it. You usually have a manufacturer's warranty. There's usually an 800 number in the manual that you can call and find out where the nearest repair facility is.

Then you get the item to the repair facility and they send it back to you fixed. Amazon can't fix stuff.

Well, I think they're giving you the run-around. I don't know any store that would take back a used item 10 months after you bought it. Try someone up higher in the food chain at the manufacturer.

If you have had possession of the item for 10 months you should contact the manufacturer, most item have a defect warranty period of anywhere from 90 days to 12 months depending on what it is, the seller AMAZON bears no responsibility at this point, look at the documents that came with the item for contact info for the producer of the item. If you call Amazon ,they will tell you what I just said .

After 10 months you need to go to the manufacture for there warranty. If you failed to send it in, then you would be out of luck. No store is obligated to take something back after 10 months.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
