How do you become a helicopter pilot, in the Canadian Air Force?

If you are only in grade 10, I wouldnt worry about future career. I know your school will do all these career days and stuff like mine, but your interest and everything will change over time. Im in second year university and if I were to follow what those results of career paths that I did in high school, i'd probably won't be in university or happy.

But as for the question, its not rare to be a full time helicopter pilot in the forces. Most pilots are full time because there isnt really a demand for pilots in the reserves. And by the end of your contract and you don't want to continue, you can always convert to pilot civilian airplanes.

Training wise, the 12(?) week basic training in Quebec is all the same for all military members. Then, the air force has its own training base for basic aviation training. And then, depending on what you're good at, you get diverted into more specific air crafts.

You may land as a heli pilot, or you may be piloting those huge air crafts that sends troops and/or goods to places, or you may even become a freaken combat pilot in F18s.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
