How Do You Deal With An Absentee Husband Who Will Yawns Saying His Wife Explodes Like Powder Keg?

Liz's husband has put his family on pause and is completely focused on his work. TV is his only escape because he sees his family as added stress. I think that Liz should give her husband some time then give him an ultimatum.

She should inform him that she is not happy and she understands he has a demanding career but if after a certain time has passed and he does not change then Liz is going to engage in progressively noticeable forms of marital disobedience.

I agree with mintinfo regarding "Liz is going to engage in progressively noticeable forms of marital disobedience", but I would take this a step further. I would start REALLY watching and managing the finances so he does not leave her destitute.

This is just me personally, but I think she should get herself a little boy toy on the side to give her a little attention and anything else that she so desire, life is too short to not be happy.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
