How do you feel about the Law of Attraction?

There's something to it, but it isn't a magic lamp Honestly, I think it works. I’m not sure about all of the universe/energy stuff that some throw in with it. But I’ve used the law of attraction in my life with results.

Example: I was in a really bad, abusive relationship and I didn’t know how to leave the guy. I had tried, but it didn’t work. It was ruining my life.

I prayed, and prayed, and prayed for the strength to leave him. A few months later, I met the man who is now my husband. I took one look at him and dropped the other guy like a bad habit.

I think it depends on your own beliefs as to whether you call it prayer or the law of attraction. I’m a spiritual person, so I believe it’s God bringing me the good things in my life. Either way you look at it, it is possible to will things into your life.

A lot of it has to do with world view, perspective, and belief systems. If you hate and want to avoid distrustful people, you’ll find yourself surrounded with them. But are they truly distrustful or you do just perceive them that way?(By you I mean the universal YOU, of course.) Do you believe it's possible to have...whatever it is you want?

If not, then you're probably right. If so, then you're probably right. See what I mean?

I’ve used the law of attraction combined with goal-setting techniques to accomplish things in my business, in my marriage, etc. However, it’s not enough to sit in a room and concentrate really really hard and visualize the things you want. You can make dream boards all day long. But without ACTION, they are just cardboard and magazine clippings.

Say you want to be a famous author. You can visualize yourself at book signings until you're blue in the face. But you have to write the book first.(Action) And you have to get an agent, which requires more action.

Visualization + commitment + action can lead you to the things you want most in life, whether it’s a great relationship, a huge house, or a jet-set lifestyle. I worked for a coaching company that used the law of attraction in their work long before The Secret blew up. It isn’t magic, but there is something to it.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
