€¢ Get a plain mask. This is the simplest and most obvious thing to do. You can find these on the cheap either on the Internet or in your local arts and crafts stores.
Search for "plain mask" or "domino mask" to find what you are looking for. There are often different designs, such as full face masks, half masks (such as The Phantom of the Opera) or eye masks. An eye mask is probably what you want.
€¢ Paint your mask. This is obvious too. Paint it whatever colour you want, whether it is to match your outfit or to be really funky, have fun with it!
€¢ Add components to your mask. You can now decorate your mask, which is the most fun bit. You can add feathers, gems, diamante, glitter, whatever you fancy to make your mask unique and beautiful.
Good ideas are putting three feathers of the same colour on the top of your mask fanning out. Then hide the stalks with a brooch, flower or whatever you can find that looks pretty. You could put a large feather (such as a peacock or ostrich feather) ... more.
