Mom, Dad, grandparents, aunts and uncles will love this personalized gift from their favorite kid. Make a ball of salt dough clay (see "How to Make Salt Dough," under Related eHows). Add food coloring to the dough, or wait and paint it when it's dry.
Put the ball onto a sheet of aluminum foil on a cookie sheet. Roll the ball flat with a rolling pin until it's about 1 inch thick. Spread your fingers and press your hand into the center of the clay, leaving a clear impression.
Remove your hand from the clay. Use a butter knife to cut a shape such as a circle or a heart around the handprint. Be careful not to tear the foil.
Write your name and the date with a toothpick somewhere on the paperweight. Bake the dough at 200 degrees until it's dry (about 10 minutes). Let it cool.
Paint the handprint with poster paints if desired. More.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
