You want to be a rag doll for the big costume party, but you don't know how to make a rag doll wig. Just follow these simple instructions and before you know it you'll have perfect rag doll hair to go with your costume. Decide on the color and length of yarn hair you want to have on your wig.

Measure an area on your table or counter that is double the length of the hair you want on your wig. For example, if you want hair that is 12 inches long on each side from the center of your head, mark the area 24 or 25 inches long. Center a sheet of paper in the area you measured.

You will sew the yarn while it is on the paper. Create a flat rectangle of yarn by beginning at the marked spot on one side of the paper. Lay the yarn on the table across the paper, going from one side to the other, repeating the process until it is wide enough to cover your head.
