A simple accordion fold can transform ordinary tissue paper into an extraordinary and whimsical flower. Kids can get involved too, as this craft is mess-free and can be demonstrated quickly. Try making your own tissue paper flowers to display at home or adorn a special gift.
Fold three sheets of tissue paper into separate accordion folds. To do this, fold down about a half-inch from the top of the sheet of paper, flip the page and fold back. Keep flipping and folding until the paper is all folded in accordion style.
Lay all three folded sheets of paper (still folded) so they cross over each other and pinch them together in the center where they meet. Wrap the end of a green pipe cleaner around the pinched area of the paper and twist it several times to secure the paper together. Pull the folds in the paper (above the pipe cleaner) apart to reveal the ridges and creases of the accordion fold.
This will create the petals of your flower. Cut the ends of the petals with scissors to round ... more.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
