How Do You Make Seashell Shadow Boxes?

Seashells gathered on a sandy beach often accompany a vacationer home only to languish in a forgotten drawer. Why not make a series of shadow boxes to hang on the wall in your office to tide you over until next summer when you can escape once again to the Polynesian shores? Simple, inexpensive glass-front picture frames will make this a meaningful memento.

Sort through your vacation pictures and find some of the ocean or beach where you gathered your shells. Take them to the photo shop and have them turned into 5"x7" photos. If you cannot find beach and ocean pictures, check the Internet for stock photos you can download and print on your own printer.

Print on matte paper in a 5"x7" size. Use the paintbrush to apply a thin layer of white glue to the bottom of the photo right over the sand area. Sprinkle on craft sand purchased from the craft store.

Sprinkle on some gold glitter if you wish. Allow to dry. Arrange your shells on the sandy beach and glue them down with a drop of white ... more.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
