How does tennyson describe war and how it was fought in the poem charge of the light brigade?

That sounds like a set question from school or college. :)If you read it, you can pick up quite a lot about this particular battle ~ but that may or may not reflect 'war and how it was fought' for others in other situations. This poem tells how this battle was fought ~ with a bit of poetic license.It states that it was fought on horseback.

It talks about weapons and noise. Also about the way soldiers have to simply obey orders, etc.If you read it and make notes on descriptions and descriptive phrases, etc, you should find a decent answer for yourself :)I have, actually, written two similar hubs on this subject, so have a read of both. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
