IUCN Lao PDR falls under the IUCN Lower Mekong Country Group (CG1) of the Asia Regional Programme. The IUCN Asia Regional Office is one of 10 regional offices worldwide, supporting members in 19 countries in the region and the operations of 10 country programmes in Lao PDR, Cambodia, Viet Nam, Thailand, Pakistan, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and China.
