How exactly do public sector salaries *suppress* private sector salaries?

In my experience the public sector is overpaid for how little they do. Now hear me out! I have worked two government jobs and in both cases the jobs in the bureaucracy were so divided and simple that we all spent only an hour or two a day doing work.

I could have run the entire department myself in an 8-hour day but instead they have twelve people handling those tasks.

The private sector has to actually make a profit to stay in business. The federal government runs trillion dollar deficits and changes nothing. It is a model for inefficiency.

It is not something to be revered or duplicated. Wise up.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
