Unfortunately I couldn't find any benchmark tests (and I guess they would be too inaccurate anyway! ), I thought to look around for a Do-It-Yourself speed test and here I found one: high-speed-internet-access-guide.com/int... There are really so many differences in what sort of speed carriers can provide and I even found out now that the weather, yes, can have an influence too!

To get a really accurate mbs transfer number and those speeds can even vary from one neighboring house to the next, it may be an idea to go and see a friend in your area who has this connection and do a test with the above mentioned link. If I really needed to get a very accurate number, I would even send an email to AOL and ask for a benchmark test or comparison sheet for various carriers if they can provide it. Hope this helps!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
