How hard is it to go back to vista after upgrading to windows 7 beta?

If you don't want to mess up your computer, a better way is using Virtual Machine. This way, should the Windows 7 Beta has reach its expiration date, you don't have to go through the process of backing up, reinstalling the OS and applications etc. Further, you can run virtual machine full screen. There are couple of virtual machines available.

One of virtual machine that is compatible with Windows 7 is Virtual Box virtualbox.org/ Once you have downloaded and installed Virtual Box, you can follow the instruction below to create a virtual machine environment and then install Windows 7 Beta. blogs.sun.com/fatbloke/entry/windows_7_o... Although the above instruction is for Mac OS X, you can apply the same things to Windows Vista or other OS for that matter. One thing that you need to be aware of, some features like Aero Glass might not work properly.

This is because Virtual Box provides only limited functionality of the graphic cards. This should not stop you to explore other functionality of Windows 7.

Here is a great tutorial from Lifehacker. Com This is useful if you just want to try Windows 7 Beta. Many people do things like this and dual or even triple, quadruple boot systems with different OS's.

Windows 7 is in testing stage. What use is it to MS if testers test upgrading from W7 beta to W7 RC1? Microsoft want clean installs or upgrades from existing OSes.

I would have thought that most testers would want to see how Windows 7 RC1 installs from scratch, as this is what they'll be doing in the real world once W7 is complete. > Or the fact that you have to pay for every minor incremental update to OSX? If you have 10.4, 10.4.1 to 10.4.11 is free.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
