One Gecco shopping bag is equivalent to three plastic bags. If you are a light shopper therefore (3-6 plastic bags per shop), you will probably only need one or two Gecco shopping bags. If you are a moderate shopper (6-9 plastic bags per shop), you will probably need two or three Gecco shopping bags.

Most supermarket trolleys will accommodate two - three Gecco shopping bags at once, but for heavier shoppers it is possible to fill a Gecco bag, drop it down into the bottom of the trolley and attach another one over the top.
