Well, I guess I am. I've been here a year.At first I would come to Askville very sporadically. Then I started to come more and more when there were more people who had joined.

Since May, I have been a regular, everyday, Askville addict. I’m a medical transcriptionist and I work from home. So, I tend to pop over here and there during my work day to see what’s going on, answer a question, make a comment.

It also breaks up the monotony of the day for me, as I don't have the social aspect of going to work and seeing people. Askville is my social connection in that regard. There are also other times when I really should be doing something else, but I just have to .

Work, Work and More Work I am an accountant. I have my own business and maintain some clients. ............then.............. when I took my big fall and during the aftermath, I took an accounting job locally at an organic farm... So, I have two jobs + hand therapy three days a week plus surgery after surgery...... Hmmmmmm,... Night time.

Besides we have a great firewall. I usually get on Askville for about two hours at night. One before dinner and one after.

Then on the weekends I will have several shorter visits to Askville throughout the day.

I guess I am an "old timer" here.. And yes, I work, but for myself out of my home as a decorative artist/designer. It's a pretty flexible job, most of the time, and alot of it's done on the computer so I am here anyway. I set my own work schedule, and that enables me to be on Askville when I want to be, so I'm pretty lucky there.My only child is off to college and my husband works a lot of hours, so I get to play online and paint as I chose!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
