How many people agree that Letterman is a jerk & Joaquin Phoenix took a load of crap from him like a gentleman?

I'm going to disagree. Joaquin Phoenix didn't act like a gentlemen at all, the man acted like he was high! The clip made me very sad for him.

While some of the stuff David Letterman was doing was pushing the boundaries, Phoenix was a guest on his show, and, well, what did he expect going in there like that? Check out an interview from him in 2006, totally different man. youtube.com/watch?v=PFbiNwrBILU And here's the Late Show video: youtube.com/watch?v=HXpYk7WGN5Y If you feel strongly that he was wronged, I would suggest you write the staff at the David Letterman show.1697 Broadway, New York, NY 10019.

I also disagree, I think David Letterman was working with the plate Joaquin served him. Phoenix was a guest of David's and made the interview very awkward for not answering questions. However... at the end of the day I think it was a publicity stunt by Phoenix, I think Dave knew it was a publicity stunt and did his best to make it somewhat entertaining for his fans.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
