Every year alcohol claims the lives of millions of Americans. The results of consistently consuming alcohol can result in a slow deterioration of the body. A human's liver will start to die and a liver transplant will be required.

Each year more than 100,000 deaths are caused by alcohol consumption. Almost ten to fifteen million Americans are alcoholics or people who have a problem drinking.
