If you gave me coffee, I'd follow you anywhere.... Whenever people ask me what I want, that’s what I tell them--coffee or gift cards to coffeeshops. But I’m not too sure it would be a good gift for people you don’t know that well. Lots of time when people come over to do work on my house, they come in the morning and the coffee pot is going full blast, so I will always offer.

You’d be surprised at how many people just cannot seem to say simply, "No, thanks," but seem compelled to add in a lofty voice, "I don’t DRINK coffee. " It really irritates me! I mean, I didn’t just ask you to shoot up heroin, did I?

I’ve even been lectured on the evils of the stuff, which really frosted my tail when it happened! Give me a break! On the other hand, I sometimes make out really well because my friends know of my habits.

A few of them are confirmed tea drinkers so I benefit from the coffee and coffeeshop gift cards that well-meaning friends and relatives give them. So, I would say that while it probably isn't a totally safe gift-- what is? I’m sure people could find something to object to in just about every possibility you could think of.

I don’t think its a BAD choice--a lot of people still do drink it, and if the recipient don’t want to drink it themselves, they can always pop it in the fridge to serve to guests (like me) who might enjoy it! I don't drink it, but... ...you could play it safe and give people gift cards to coffee places like Starbucks. Even though they make their fortune with rich Colombian roasts, Starbucks still has other stuff like hot chocolate and spiced cider (seasonally). It's probably safe to say that most people drink coffee though, so you should be fine..

Lots Lots of people drink coffee but lots avoid it too. And many coffee drinkers stick to DeCaf instead of real coffee. I'd be leery of giving it as a gift unless you know what the recipients prefer.

Not much point in giving a gift that might not be used.

Some people do actually abhor coffee, but usually they do like tea. My mom is one of those people who even hates the smell of it, but she realizes she is in the minority and passes off the coffee to a friend or family member. But, she does love tea, and would appreciate if a coffee gift basket had some tea in it.

I drink coffee though not often. However, I think that it's a safe gift. Even if someone doesn't drink it, it's a pretty standard gift..

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
