How many pieces of clothing do you have in your wardrobe?Can you live with wearing just six items of clothing from your wardrobe for a month?

Sure! Three tops and three bottoms equal nine different outfits. T1 + B1, T2 + B1, T3 + B1 T1 + B2, T2 + B2, T3 + B2 T1 + B3, T2 + B3, T3 + B3 Even if you changed outfits twice a day 2-3 days a week, that's still a different outfit for each day.

If you were careful to mix it up (not where the same outfit every Monday, Tuesday, etc) no one would probably even notice; especially (as the rules indicate is okay to do) you accessorize differently. If one of the tops was detailed enough or of high quality enough fabric, and one of the bottoms was an equally quality basic black or white piece, you could even accessorize it up enough to have a dressy outfit for a special occasion. Even if you opt for four tops and two bottoms you can still switch it up nicely for 28-31 days.

I have about 20 - 25 articles of clothing in my wardrobe now. I think I could easily drop that to 6. I really only have three pairs of pants I wear anyway, good jeans, nice cargo pants, and jeans with a hole in the knee.

If I were to subtract the holey jeans and one of my sport jackets I would be just fine with these. 1. Sport jacket 2.

Cargo pants 3. Good jeans 4. Polo shirt 1 5.

Polo shirt 2 6. White Oxford or other collared button down long sleeve shirt. This is pretty much what I wear every day anyway.

The limiting me to just these 6 items would not be much a of a stretch for me. I could dress something like this, interchanging 2 or 3 of 6 items each day.

I have average number of clothes, and since I'm a girl it takes me a couple of minutes in front of my closet to pick clothes I should wear. But there are also those lazy days where I just wear the first ensemble that my hands pulled out. I think I could live with just 6 pieces of clothing for a month.It just takes creativity to make you look different each day even if you're actually juggling only 6 items.

1. Accessorize Accessories can create different statements. For instance you're wearing a plain white top, there will be a huge difference on your look if you'll wear it with a bib necklace than having just the top.

You can also wear belt placed on the top of your white top to create a different look. 2. Hairstyle Changing your hairstyle daily would also create a different look on you.

You can sport a curly hair today and maybe straight the next day. You can also try washable color/highlights on your hair.3. Different top & bottom ensemble If you have 6 pieces, then you can mix and match what you have and still be fashionable for 30 days.

My advice, pick plain clothing over printed ones. Printed or heavily designed ones are easy to notice so it wouldn't play up your audience eyes. If I were to do this challenge, this will be my 6 items... a.

White buttoned top (longsleeves) b. Tank top (other than black or white) c. Black dress (a must have for every women) d.

Cream colored jacket/blazer (picking a design that you can play up will be better) e. White skirt f. Black Slacks (pick your best-fit slacks) Your creativity starts here.

:) I guess I could create 30 or more looks with these pieces. If you think the black dress is a dead end, you're wrong. Aside from wearing it alone, or adding up accessories, you can try wearing it with the skirt.

You could wearing the skirt under the dress or over the dress. Just be creative, I guess anyone can do this challenge.

No, I could not live with just 6 items (not including underwear, bras and socks. ) Why? I have a couple of dresses to wear when there are fancy gatherings.

I garden, and do household chores, so I need some not so nice looking clothes to do that. If weather is consistent through out the entire year, perhaps I can get away with 6 items. I live in wisconsin though, we have this thing called winter.In my wardrobe I probably have 20 tank tops, 30 or so shirts, 10 or so sweaters, 10 or so jeans, 5 pairs of capris, 10 or so nice pants, 3 or 4 shorts, 2 bathing suits.

BUT this was all accumulated over YEARS. I haven't really bought anything new for myself since June (before that February), and I only spent $12, so it couldn't have been a big item or fancy.In terms of a shopping diet, I do not need to do such a thing. The name isn't exactly right for what they are trying to do either.

Perhaps 'wearing diet' would work better, as they aren't really trying to limit what people buy, just what people wear. I also think its funny that you can have multiples of the same item. What?

Sooooo people can get away with wearing 30 black exactly the same shirt for one month? What's the point? Or 30 pairs of exactly the same pair of jeans for one month?

This strange notion is obviously impossible. Starting from the top: hat shirt undershirt trousers underpants socks (I'll count them as one pair) shoes (same). That's seven.

And, I don't want to stand naked in the laundromat. Or, even wear the same thing to work as on the weekends. Only someone who was unemployed would think of something like this, presumably neither thinking about the requirements of work nor having anything better to do.Note.

Not counting underwear, shoes, hats, etc is obviously cheating. Similarly, having multiple copies of the same item for laundry purposes is also cheating. Six is six.

And what is the difference between 3 black shirts and one purple one gold and one green except for bland uniformity versus good taste. Bah! Humbug!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
