How many Republicans just got voted into the Senate?

No the Republican Party isn’t the majority party in the Senate. They are currently the majority party in the House of Representatives. In fact as of November of last year the Republican Party took 224 seats in the House as oppose to the Democrat Party taking 167 seats.

This shifted the power in the House of Representatives, and made Republican Representative John Boehner the Speaker of the House and the Majority leader. The previous Speaker of The House Democrat Nancy Pelosi, became the minority leader in the house. As for the Senate, despite some gain from the Republicans, it still remained under Democrat control at least for another two years.

One of the biggest wins for the Democrat party where the Senate was concern was of course the win of Senate Leader Harry Reid, who managed to maintain his seat after a tough race. The United States Senate now stands at Democrats 51 and Republicans 47 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_House_of_Representatives_elections,_2010 http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_many_republicans_in_the_senate_in_2011.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
