How much would a set of WWII encyclopedias be worth?

It depends what encyclopedia. Most encyclopedias contain information that changes with time. Information can become outdated.

Outdated information has little or no value. The Encyclopedia Britannica was published in different editions. Some of their contributors were famous scholars and philosophers and the older editions actually still retain some value because, unlike the newer editions, the essays were written by these great men and women.

I would approach a professional librarian to learn more about which editions are prized. I am guessing they are from the early 20th Century. If you have a valued edition of the EB, then they can probably direct you to book dealers in your area who may be interested.

However, I wouldn't set your expectations too high. You can see examples for sale on eBay. Thinking creatively, who else might value old books like these?

Perhaps local museums interested in using props from the period? Alright, I know, that was weak... How about piling them on top of wood that you are gluing? It probably will work better than a clamp... :) Sources: hanging out with library science students many years ago .

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
