How to capture output of a shell script running in a separate process, in a wxPython TextCtrl?

I don't know if this will help you or not, but I have an example of something like this using subprocess here.

I found a solution which implements a modified output Queue on top of Roger Stuckey's Simpler wxPython Multiprocessing Example framework. The code below is even Simpler than his; it could also be cleaned out a little. Hope it helps someone else.

I still have a nagging feeling that there should be a more straightforward way of doing this though.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
