How to repair damaged dyed hair?

Re-tinting your hair is not going to cover up the black. Tints do not lift or remove color, you can only go darker with a tint. To get back to your golden color the black will need to be stripped with a color remover or bleach.

Then your hair can be tinted back to it's natural color. I would strongly suggest you have this professionally done. They will be able to determine which method can be used, with minimal damage.

This will not be a damage free process, but done correctly, there won't be as much damage. Then buy a good quality shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair, and deep condition every two weeks. Also use a thermal protective spray or serum before you use any heated styling tool.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
