How to store data in Django Model without having an input field?

There is probably a way to override the form save() method and put the date in at that step, but I can't find any examples of doing this.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
