More teams qualifying for the playoffs may help them (the team owners) at least recover or have a profit with their investments.

Most of the games are intense and hardly fought as you can see the players diving for each ball possessions and will give their best without letup just to win.

The playoffs will certainly separate the men from the boys. As the team left standing after the smoke of battle cleared out will certainly be the most resilient, determined and courageous basketball quintet. More teams in the playoffs are equivalent to more income and excitement.
