I am a 16yr old female and my serum ferritin level is 5.4 ng/ml. Doc gave me Iberet Folic 500? How low am i?when will I get normal value?

I would go to the doctor. I had something like that not too long ago, and waited a long time hoping it'd go away on it's own. It ended up being painful to have sex, but once I had the gel they gave me to treat it, I was fine after that.
