I bet I took your exact same cruise this last year. Are you taking the 7 day cruise to the above cities out of Long Beach? We had a great time!

I would totally do it again. If you have the same itinerary we did you'll not have a full day in Los Cabos. The city is just a vacation village really with the emphasis on water sports.

The cruise line will offer you many activities. Los Cabos seemed like a good place to have a dolphin encounter and ride a jet ski. They had some land adventures too.

I didn't talk to anyone (I talked to many people who took different adventure packages) who didn't have a great time. In Puerto Vallarta we spent the day at an inclusive resort that included a beach, food, bar, etc. With a boat ride there and back. We had the longest time in PV of the three ports.

Mazatlan is an actual city and we opted for a tour of the cultural highlights. We saw the cathedral, cliff divers, a folklorico performance, had a tour of the city, and we did some shopping. There is a strong push to buy diamond jewelry.

We resisted and bought a ceramic piece for our home instead. By the time we got to Los Cabos we opted just to leave the boat, do a little shopping and have lunch in town then go back to the boat.It left pretty early in the afternoon anyway. Have fun!

By the end of the week on that boat I felt totally spoiled.Be sure to pack some great clothes for the formal nights. People really do dress up. It was my first cruise and I didn't believe that it would really be formal.

I was sorry I hadn't brought my nicest dresses. -layyla-'s Recommendations Lonely Planet Baja & Los Cabos (Lonely Planet Baja and Los Cabos) Amazon List Price: $19.99 Used from: $3.35 Average Customer Rating: 4.0 out of 5 (based on 2 reviews) Los Cabos Guide to Good Eating and More Amazon List Price: $7.95 Average Customer Rating: 4.0 out of 5 (based on 7 reviews) .

Venture away from the tourist centers! I was a bit confused by your question. The term "Mexican Rivera" is generally used in context with Cancun and the Carribean side of Mexico.

The ports of call you listed are on the west coast of the country. The towns you listed are cruise ship towns. As such there is a comminality to all of them that is not typical of Mexico. In most cities, spoiled by the cruise industry there is a relatively small area near the wharf that travelers spend most of their time and money.

Unfortunately this area is typical of the cruise industry, and not typical of the country you are visiting. Take the time to get out of the touist zone, and into the countryside. The mexican people are warm and caring people.

Getting away from the tourist centers is worth the effort. Take a trip on one of the local buses to a neighboring town. Even if it is just for a half day, you will discover a completely different world.

Even if you do not speak Spanish it is worth the effort to see the true Mexican lifestyle. Of course in doing so, use all of the normal traveling precautions. I have been to all of the towns you mentioned as well as many others during several trips down south and find it no more dangerous than traveling in an other country or major city!

Remember you are a guest in their country and need to be considerate of their customs. Enjoy your trip!.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
