No... you don't need to prime No... you may need multiple coats though. You don't need to prime if you are painting latex over latex. You could run over the wall with some sand paper though just to take the shine off the old paint and give it some "tooth" especially on outside corners that folks brush up against and are likely to chip or peel paint away.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
