The hdmi that come's with the p4 is not lasting appeal. Hop on ebay ( yes its very safe) and purchase a gold plated or even platinum plate for your p4 it will not ficker and you get the best quality than silver plated hdmi cords.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
